Tara's Story

Tara Sawyer is a vibrant Christian spirit that was in this world for 10 years until she went home to be with our Lord. While she was with us she was a good friend, a great athlete, a loving daughter and an awesome sister.

The Tara Sawyer Classic

Annually more than 120 youth baseball teams from surrounding states convene in North Texas for the Tara Sawyer Classic. More than just your average baseball tournament, the Tara Sawyer Classic incorporates family-friendly entertainment through a Saturday night “Main Event”, raffles, auctions, children’s entertainment and more.

How We Help

The Tara Sawyer Foundation makes every effort to support young athletes, children and families in need. Supporting organizations for abused, neglected or abandoned children and drilling wells for safe drinking water in impoverished regions are two of our passions.
